Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
This collection of 4x6 prints consists of all the pieces in the We Call Them Home series as well as a piece of the Pentagon, which although is not a designated Marine Corps base in the US is a duty station for many Marine families.
When this piece is ordered as a 24"x20", each piece with it's raw edges will print to fit in a standard 4x6 mat opening, which is typically 5.5"x3.5". As most printers will not print fine art on sizes smaller than 8"x10" this gives you the option of customizing a wall of your duty stations framed in 4x6 mats - either in a 5x7 or 8x10 frame! Think of it like a portrait package of school photos - but you get to cut straight across the whole paper!
